Gillespie has 14 points including the game-winning free throw to get Belmont past Lipscomb 72-71

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Malik Dia scored 15 points and Ja'Kobi Gillespie secured the victory with a free throw with five seconds remaining as Belmont took down Lipscomb 72-71 on Wednesday night.

Dia was 5-of-9 shooting and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Bruins (7-3). Cade Tyson scored 14 points and added five rebounds. Gillespie had 14 points and shot 6 for 11, including 1 for 5 from beyond the arc.

Will Pruitt led the way for the Bisons (6-5) with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Derrin Boyd added 12 points for Lipscomb. Cody Head also put up nine points.
