Milton's 20 points lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff over Texas Southern 70-67
HOUSTON (AP) Kylen Milton had 20 points in Arkansas-Pine Bluff's 70-67 win over Texas Southern on Saturday night.
Jonathan Cisse made a jumper to pull Texas Southern to 69-67 with four seconds left. Kaine McColley split a pair of free throws and Cisse missed a 3 to end it.
Milton also contributed seven rebounds for the Golden Lions (6-10, 1-2 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Lonnell Martin Jr. scored 16 points and added seven rebounds. Joe French had 11 points and shot 3 for 10, including 3 for 9 from beyond the arc.
The Tigers (3-11, 1-2) were led in scoring by Cisse, who finished with 21 points and nine rebounds. Kehlin Farooq added 13 points, seven rebounds and two steals for Texas Southern. In addition, Grayson Carter finished with nine points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
