Sears' 20 lead UT Martin past Southeast Missouri State 84-58
MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) Jordan Sears scored 20 points as UT Martin beat Southeast Missouri State 84-58 on Thursday night.
Sears shot 7 of 13 from the field and 6 for 7 from the foul line for the Skyhawks (11-9, 4-3 Ohio Valley Conference). Jacob Crews scored 19 points and added seven rebounds. Issa Muhammad had 14 points and went 6 of 11 from the field.
Josh Earley led the Redhawks (7-13, 2-5) in scoring, finishing with 14 points. Rob Martin added 10 points and three steals for Southeast Missouri State. Aquan Smart also put up nine points.
