Ibi Watson: Scores two points in debut
Watson mustered two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one assist in 12 minutes during Friday's 118-117 loss to Greensboro.
Watson missed the first two games of the campaign due to a foot injury, but he made his season debut Friday and played 12 minutes off the bench. The 24-year-old averaged 7.6 points in 18.0 minutes per game last year with College Park and figures to see a similar role this year once he regains his conditioning.

Watson compiled 21 points (9-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes during Sunday's G League win over Windy City.
Watson was limited to single-digit scoring totals during each of his first nine appearances in March, but he was much more productive Sunday while shooting 75 percent from the floor. He's now averaging 8.0 points and 2.9 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per game this year.

Watson scored in double figures in each of his final two appearances in February, but he's had a minimal impact in early March. Across his six appearances since the start of the month, he's averaged just 3.3 points in 8.8 minutes per game.

Ibi Watson: Let go by Atlanta
The Hawks waived Watson on Friday.
Watson was cut three days after signing an Exhibit 10 deal, but the Hawks got a longer evaluation of the undrafted rookie out of Dayton during the Las Vegas Summer League. Unless he elects to pursue work overseas, Watson is expected to begin his professional career with the G League's College Park Skyhawks.
