Edey played the best game of his young career Sunday, racking up career highs in scoring and blocks. Edey also continued his dominant play on the glass, grabbing a game-high 17 boards and extending his streak of games with at least 15 rebounds to three. Over those three games, he is averaging 19.3 points, 17.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 32 minutes per contest.

After completing his recovery from June surgery on his left ankle, Edey was cleared to make his season debut Saturday and immediately stepped into the starting five, replacing Jock Landale. Edey didn't exhibit any signs of rust in his return, producing on both ends of the floor while seeing solid minutes out of the gate. As he becomes further removed from ankle surgery, Edey could eventually push toward a regular 30-minute role, though foul trouble and certain matchups with floor-spacing centers could occasionally limit his playing time.
