Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Muted role continues
Poeltl closed Thursday's 126-104 victory over Cleveland in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with eight points (4-6 FG), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 18 minutes.
Poeltl continues to play limited minutes, resulting in what can only be described as modest production. Through three games, Poeltl has averaged just 4.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Despite Cleveland running with a sizeable lineup, Poeltl's apparent limitations have forced Toronto to counter with some small-ball looks.

Raptors' Collin Murray-Boyles: Another strong performance
Murray-Boyles ended Thursday's 126-104 win over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 22 points (11-15 FG), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 28 minutes.
Murray-Boyles got it done on both ends of the floor, scoring at least 14 points for the third straight game, helping Toronto to a much-needed victory. Cleveland now holds a 2-1 advantage, with Game 4 scheduled for Sunday in Toronto.

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Struggles despite spot start
Walter accumulated zero points (0-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and two rebounds over 26 minutes during Thursday's 126-104 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Walter overcame illness to suit up Thursday, moving into the starting lineup after it was announced Immanuel Quickley would miss his third straight game due to a hamstring injury. Despite the promotion, Walter had a poor night, going scoreless in 26 minutes. Although Toronto was able to walk away with a much-needed victory, Walter is going to have to elevate his game should the team have hopes of going toe-to-toe with the Cavaliers.

Raptors' RJ Barrett: Buries six treys in win
Barrett finished Thursday's 126-104 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 33 points (12-19 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 3-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 39 minutes.
Barrett showed up for the Raptors in a big way on the offensive end. He combined with Scottie Barnes for 66 points, though it was Barrett who drilled a team-high six triples. The 25-year-old's production on the offensive end proved to be one of the key difference makers in Game 3 to keep his squad's playoff hopes alive. Barrett is averaging 26.3 points while hitting at a clip of 64.4 percent from the field through the first three games of the first round.

Raptors' Jamal Shead: Shifting to bench for Game 3
Shead isn't in the starting lineup for Game 3 against Cleveland on Thursday, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports.
Shead caught fire from beyond the arc in Game 1, but he was unable to replicate that same production in Game 2, as he was held to three points on 1-for-5 from deep. As a result, Ja'Kobe Walter will get the nod in the starting lineup Thursday, bumping Shead to a bench role.

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Joining starting five
Walter is starting Game 3 against Cleveland on Thursday, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports.
Walter provided a spark off the bench in Game 2, and he evidently showed enough to receive an opportunity with the first unit while Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) remains sidelined. Jamal Shead will retreat to the bench with Walter starting.

Raptors' Immanuel Quickley: Listed out for Game 3
Quickley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Game 3 against the Cavaliers on Thursday, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.
Quickley has yet to play in this series, and he'll need to wait at least until Sunday's Game 4 to do so. Jamal Shead has started the first two games in Quickley's place and should be the favorite to do so again Thursday night, though Ja'Kobe Walter could also be heavily involved after dropping 14 points off the bench in Game 2.

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Available to play
Walter (illness) is available to play for Thursday's Game 3 against the Cavaliers, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Walter was able to shake off his questionable tag for this contest. Through two games, he's averaging 10.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.5 steals in 28.0 minutes per contest.

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Iffy for Thursday
Walter (illness) is questionable for Thursday's Game 3 against the Cavaliers, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
The series will shift to Toronto as the Raptors aim to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole, though they may be without Walter. If the second-year guard is ruled out, Jamal Shead and A.J. Lawson would likely see increased minutes, especially if Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) remains out.

Raptors' Immanuel Quickley: Questionable for Game 3
Quickley (hamstring) is questionable for Game 3 on Thursday against the Cavaliers, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
The Raptors are giving Quickley a chance to return from a three-game absence with a right hamstring strain. His return would most significantly cut into the playing time of Jamal Shead and Ja'Kobe Walter, the latter of whom is also iffy for Thursday's pivotal contest due to an illness.

Raptors' Sandro Mamukelashvili: Double-doubles off bench
Mamukelashvili chipped in 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes during Monday's 115-105 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
With Jakob Poeltl being ineffective once again, the Raptors leaned heavily on Mamukelashvili and Collin Murray-Boyles off the bench. With the team starting a 2-0 deficit, lineup/rotation changes could be on the table for Toronto.

Raptors' Brandon Ingram: Disappears in Game 2 defeat
Ingram tallied seven points (3-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Monday's 115-105 Game 2 loss to Cleveland in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Monday was a disappointing performance from the first-time All-Star, with Ingram failing to score a point in the first half while missing all six of his field-goal attempts. He also committed a team-high five turnovers, and that lack of efficiency from the field held the Raptors back from making a comeback in the fourth quarter. Game 3 of the series unfolds Toronto on Thursday, and Ingram has been better at home this season than on the road. He averaged 23.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.0 threes, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks over 34.7 minutes across 38 regular-season games at Scotiabank Arena.

Raptors' RJ Barrett: Near double-double in Game 2 loss
Barrett recorded 22 points (10-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and five assists over 38 minutes during Toronto's 115-105 Game 2 loss against the Cavaliers on Monday in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Barrett was rebound shy from logging a double-double and had another efficient performance from the floor Monday, finishing as the Raptors' second-leading scorer behind Scottie Barnes (26 points). Barrett has gone 17-for-26 (65.4 percent) from the field over the first two games of the series, and the Raptors will need that efficiency in Game 3 on Thursday if the team wishes to avoid going down 3-0 in the series.
