No. 1 -- Starting QB. Expected starter, junior Stephen Morris , will miss spring practice after undergoing back surgery. Redshirt sophomore Ryan Williams will get a chance to prove himself after sitting out last year after transferring from Memphis. Williams will battle freshmen Gray Crow and Preston Dewey. A productive spring for Williams could put him in the driver's seat come fall. No. 2 -- Offensive weapons. The team lost most of its offensive production to the NFL draft. QB Jacory Harris, RB Lamar Miller, WR Tommy Streeter and WR Travis Benjamin accounted for 29 of the 39 TDs scored in 2011. The team will have only three healthy scholarship WRs for spring football. TE Asante Cleaveland has been impressive in offseason workouts. He's bulked up to 270 pounds and could prove to be a big factor. No. 3 -- DE experience. While sophomore Anthony Chickillo, who was tied for the most sacks in 2011, is a clear cut starter on the right side, the left side is up for grabs. Oft-njured redshirt-junior Shayon Greene is penciled in as the starter with freshman Dwayne Hoilett backing him up. Hoilett is only listed at 217 pounds. Redshirt freshman Ricardo Williams (6-5, 220) is also in the mix, but there's not a lot of experience after Greene and Chickillo.
