Saturday on CBS Sports Network features a quadruple header, including two games with top 25 teams sporting undefeated records. South Florida and San Diego State will be facing off against East Carolina and Northern Illinois, respectively. As they try to vault their conferences to the forefront of non-Power Five consideration, they'll be doing so against stout competition. The Mountain West and AAC are looking to make their marks, and both teams are primed to do so.

BYU and Army will also be in action. Despite difficult starts, they'll both be looking to right their respective ships. It's no small feat, but both teams are trying to get back into the conversation for bowl contention. Army's schedule has proven to be difficult thus far, and it isn't getting easier, but they've shown signs of their potential early in the year.

Storylines: In one of the tightest games of the week, BYU will be playing Utah State. Utah State's Kent Myers has been up and down all season, putting up impressive numbers but also six interceptions through four games. Both defenses have struggled against the running game, giving up about 185 yards per game to opponents, but only Utah State is particularly keen on running the ball often. It should be a slugfest throughout the night, as BYU looks to crawl out of a 1-3 hole and Utah State is trying to stay above .500 on the season.

No. 18 South Florida vs. East Carolina

Date: Saturday, Sep. 30 | Time: 12 p.m. ET
Location: Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium -- Greenville, North Carolina

Live stream: CBS Sports Network is available via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fubo TV and Hulu. Storylines: Sitting undefeated, including a rout over Illinois, South Florida is No. 18 in the country and looking to continue to leave its footprint on college football's landscape. It starts with a game against East Carolina, who is coming off its first win of the season against Connecticut and is looking to continue that momentum in conference play. It now returns to home to face its toughest conference opponent of the season. South Florida plays with a high-octane offense and an opportunistic defense that has been difficult to beat so far this season. East Carolina will need to play a clean game to keep the South Florida offense off the field -- no mean feat when dealing with a defense as aggressive as that of South Florida. This game has the potential to be high-scoring and fast-paced, and it will come come down to one simple fact: Whoever turns the ball over less will end up winning.

UTEP vs. Army

Date: Saturday, Sep. 30 | Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Location: Michie Stadium -- West Point, New York
TV: CBS Sports Network [Channel finder

Live stream: CBS Sports Network is available via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fubo TV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers. For more information, including a full programming schedule, go to CBSSportsNetwork.com.

Storylines: Army has the potential to run all over UTEP in this game. With UTEP giving up about 248 rushing yards per game against Army's 366 yards on the ground per game, UTEP will be hard-pressed to stop Army's relentless rushing attack. At 2-2, Army is trying to make a statement -- and it will need to do so decisively against the 0-4 UTEP. Ahmad Bradshaw has been a monster for the Army offense, carrying the ball 63 times for 439 yards and four touchdowns. It's not unreasonable to expect another huge game from the star quarterback, as UTEP continues to try to figure out its defense.

Air Force vs. New Mexico

Date: Saturday, Sep. 30 | Time: 7 p.m. ET
Location: Dreamstyle Stadium -- Albuquerque, New Mexico
TV: CBS Sports Network [Channel finder

Live stream: CBS Sports Network is available via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fubo TV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers. For more information, including a full programming schedule, go to CBSSportsNetwork.com.

Storylines: The dream of the triple option is alive and well with Air Force football. The 2-2 Lobos are facing off against the 1-2 Falcons, as Air Force's sporadic offense will clash with New Mexico's steady one. The Lobos have moved the ball well through their first four games with quarterback Lamar Jordan showing a lot of big play potential. Chris Davis Jr. has become a viable receiving threat for New Mexico, which has expanded its passing attack in recent weeks. Air Force, meanwhile, has one rule: run until the defense stops you -- and then run some more. New Mexico's defense, however, won't let that work so easily. It's given up less than 100 yards per game on the ground (97.0), and it's a sticking point with the Lobos that teams will not move the ball in the running game. Air Force may have to expand its playbook, although whether or not it's capable of doing so remains to be seen.

Northern Illinois vs. No. 19 San Diego State

Date: Saturday, Sep. 30 | Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Location: Qualcomm Stadium -- San Diego, California
TV: CBS Sports Network [Channel finder

Live stream: CBS Sports Network is available via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fubo TV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers. For more information, including a full programming schedule, go to CBSSportsNetwork.com.

Storylines: San Diego State is playing its third consecutive week on CBSSN, and it has quickly evolved into one of the more exciting teams to watch. After getting a signature win over Stanford two weeks ago, San Diego State took care of business in a hard-fought win over Air Force. Northern Illinois, meanwhile, secured its first win of the season over Connecticut. San Diego State is currently No. 19 in the country, and it'll be looking to improve that ranking and extend their its undefeated season into next week. It's no small task against the Huskies, whose record is significantly uglier than their actual games. In spite of its struggles closing out games, Northern Illinois will be entering California on a mission this weekend.
