Indiana is joining many college football teams around the country with a display of patriotism on its uniforms for Saturday, the day after Veteran's Day. Hoosier fans love to see Kevin Wilson's team in the candy stripe uniforms, but the combination for Penn State was enhanced by its red, white and blue United States flare.
They're calling it "Stars and Stripes and Candy Stripes," and we're huge fans.
There is no reason to wear out these awesome helmets, but Indiana should make them a staple for November games moving forward. Check out quarterback Richard Lagow, not only making the helmet look good but adding an American flag chin strap.
