Only one more quarter stands between Maryland and the victory they were favored to collect coming into this afternoon. They have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead UConn 36-7.
If Maryland keeps playing like this they'll be starting off their season with a 'W'. On the other hand, UConn will be starting their season off on the wrong foot unless they turn things around (and fast).

The UConn Huskies will start their season against the Maryland Terrapins. Kickoff is scheduled at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at SECU Stadium.

Maryland ought to be happy about their advantage in the spread: the team was a solid 7-2 when favored last season. Sadly, UConn will open their season as the underdog, and the team was 2-7 as such last year.
