The New Mexico Lobos will play against a Division II opponent, the Houston Baptist Huskies, in an early-season tune-up on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET at Dreamstyle Stadium. Last year was nothing to brag about for the Lobos (2-5), so the squad is looking forward to a new start.
New Mexico has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. A win is hardly a sure thing, especially this early in the season, so expect a good game.
