Here's the latest on the Pac-12's top players who are projected to go from playing on Saturdays to starring on Sundays.

1. RB Stepfan Taylor, 5-11, 215, Stanford

Why he has the top spot: Taylor wasn't running against air on Saturday, but at times it looked that easy for the senior running back in the Cardinal's 35-17 win over UCLA. Taylor ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, including a 49-yard touchdown run. Thanks to the win, Stanford is now headed to Friday's Pac-12 Championship Game, where it will play a familiar foe. The Cardinal are playing UCLA for the second time in six days.

Season stats (12 games): 278 carries, 1,364 yards, 11 touchdowns; 32 receptions, 215 yards, two touchdowns.

Player ranking: Taylor is ranked 91st overall and is the sixth-highest rated RB in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings. 

Up next: If Taylor has a lot of confidence going into Stanford's next game, it's because he gets to face UCLA again -- this time in the Pac-12 title game. Taylor's 7.1 yards per carry against the Bruins on Saturday was his highest average of the season. If he gets near that number again, Stanford could be headed to its first Rose Bowl since 2000.

2. RB Kenjon Barner, 5-11, 195, Oregon

Why he has the second spot: Thanks to an injury, Barner only played three quarters in Saturday's 48-24 Civil War win over Oregon State, but that was still more than enough time for him to rack up 198 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Beavers had no answer for Barner, who averaged 7.1 yards per carry. After the game, Barner said the unspecified injury he suffered was minor, so don't look for him to miss the Ducks bowl game.

Season stats (12 games): 248 carries, 1,624 yards, 21 touchdowns; 19 receptions, 232 yards, 1 touchdown.

Player ranking: Barner is ranked 128th overall and is the 11th-highest rated RB in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings. 

Up next: Bowl game TBA. The Ducks are most likely headed for a BCS bowl, but the team won't know for sure until the BCS Selection show airs on Dec. 2. 

3. RB John White, 5-8, 188, Utah

Why he has the third spot: White had an up-and-down season with most of the downs coming in the first half of the year. In Utah's first five games against FBS opponents, the senior running back didn't hit the 100-yard mark once. However, the ups began in Week 9 when White went for 105 yards in Utah's win over Cal. Since then, White has hit the 100-yard mark in every game the Utes have played, including a season-high 168 yards in Utah's win over Colorado on Saturday.

Season stats (12 games): 218 carries, 1,041 yards, 8 touchdowns; 15 receptions, 123 yards, 1 touchdown.

Player ranking: White is ranked 449th overall and is the 35th-highest rated RB in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.

Keep an eye on: TE Joseph Fauria, 6-7, 255, UCLA

Why you should watch him: Fauria's been on a roll lately, with six touchdowns in the Bruins' last five games. The senior tight end has also tallied over 60 yards in each of UCLA's last four games, including a 66-yard, one touchdown performance in the Bruins loss to Stanford on Saturday.

Season stats (12 games): 39 receptions, 544 yards, 11 touchdowns.

Player ranking: Fauria is ranked 151st overall and is the sixth-highest rated TE in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.

Up next: After hosting Stanford on Saturday, the Bruins will now travel to Palo Alto for a rematch in the Pac-12 Championship game. Fauria put up decent numbers in the first game, but UCLA may need a bigger performance from him if the Bruins are going to knock off a Stanford team that's only lost once at home in the last two seasons.
