Watchability: None. Zero. Zilch. Unwatchable unless you are Colorado head coach Jon Embree himself.

Shining stars: Colorado: It's not often that an offensive lineman becomes a team's most important player, but David Bakhtiari most certainly paves the way. The junior has to be reeling from the Buffaloes' pedestrian ground game last week, and he'll take it out on the Hornets. Sacramento State: Quarterback Garrett Safron had a nice game in the Hornets' opener, completing 23 of 35 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Against a Buffalo pass defense that is susceptible to the deep pass, he could go long a few times.

Who could steal the show: Colorado: Wide receiver Nelson Spruce was one of the best recruits that Embree has reeled in, and the redshirt freshman rewarded Colorado's faithful with an eight-catch, 64-yard, one-score opener. He'll be among the conference's top targets within two years. Sacramento State: Linebacker Todd Davis toils in relative obscurity for the FCS-level Hornets. In Week 1, he delivered 11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup. He's just all over the field.

Magic number for Colorado: 150. Colorado was nowhere near physical enough in its season-opener against Colorado State, particularly in the running game. The Buffaloes had just 58 yards -- they'll need to tack on 100 more to really make this easy.

Magic number for Sacramento State: 5. It's OK to be sloppy. It's not OK to be sloppy and ineffective. The Hornets were penalized nine times for 58 yards in Week 1, and they can't afford more than five fouls against the Buffaloes.

The game comes down to: Colorado's ability to handle diversity. Much of the talent disappeared from an already depleted team from last year, and a Week 1 loss did little to instill confidence. The Buffaloes will need to turn it around, and fast.

Prediction: Colorado 27, Sacramento State 19
