The nation's top recruit, running back Najee Harris, will remain an Alabama commit despite a strong push of late by Michigan, according to 247 Sports.
Harris committed to Alabama in April 2015, but has been looking at Michigan recently as an option. His decision between the Tide and the Wolverines has apparently been made, with Harris staying with Nick Saban's squad rather than flipping to Jim Harbaugh.
Harris will reportedly be flying to Birmingham following this Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl after earlier reports that he was planning to fly back to his hometown of Oakland. By flying into Birmingham this weekend, Harris will be able to become an early-enrollee at Alabama as classes begin on Jan. 11.
Travel is paid for by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and the game allows players to make travel changes during the week. According to 247Sports, Harris made the decision to switch his flight after Thursday's practice and the change is expected to be accepted, ensuring Nick Saban of having another stud running back in Tuscaloosa.
