The Howard Bison will start their season against they. Kickoff is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. ET on Thursday at SHI Stadium.
Thursday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Howard was unstoppable on the ground last season, having averaged 180.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Rutgers struggles in that department as they averaged 165.4.
Looking back to last season, Howard finished on the right side of .500 (6-5), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year. On the other hand, Rutgers wound up balanced, finishing 6-6.
Howard must know they're fighting an uphill battle given the 36.5-point spread they're up against.
