SEC Notebook: Tennessee introduces 'premium tailgating'

South Carolina backup QB Tanner McEvoy has decided to transfer. The decision comes less than a week after the 19-year-old redshirt freshman was arrested for speeding and driving after consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.
Controversy has erupted surrounding the high school transfer of Alabama commitment Darius Paige, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound defensive lineman. It's unclear if Paige will be immediately eligible to play for Foley High, which sent standouts Julio Jones, Robert Lester and D.J. Fluker to Alabama in recent years.
Georgia is relying on freshmen Marshall Morgan and Collin Barber at placekicker and punter, respectively. They're trying to replace kicker Blair Walsh and Drew Butler, who are in NFL training camps.
LSU star Tyrann Mathieu said he'll tone down his use of Twitter to limit potential distractions. He also addressed his Heisman chances, noting "your team has to play national championship football."
Tennessee unveiled a new "premium tailgating area" a block from Neyland Stadium. Fans who want to reserve a spot can choose between the First Down and Touchdown packages. The latter costs $795 and accommodates 50 fans with a tent, tables, folding chairs, ice chest, flat screen TV and more.
