Fans are certainly getting their money's worth as SMU and Navy have already combined for 73 points. SMU has a bit of a cushion as they currently lead Navy 59-14. SMU's offense has been firing on all cylinders thus far, outscoring their total from last Saturday with time still left to play.
SMU entered the game having won seven straight and they're just one quarter away from another. Will they make it eight, or will Navy step up and spoil it? We'll know soon.

If the oddsmakers' predictions hold true, the near future looks bright for SMU. They will be playing at home against the Navy Midshipmen at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. SMU will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, SMU beat Memphis 38-34.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Preston Stone and Seth Henigan. Stone had a great game and threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt. Meanwhile, Henigan was balling out in the loss, throwing for 402 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the defenses reigned supreme when Navy and East Carolina played on Saturday, rewarding bettors who took the risk on the low 30.5-point over/under. Navy didn't even let East Carolina onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Navy.
Among those leading the charge was Alex Tecza, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped SMU to 9-2 and Navy to 5-5.
As mentioned, SMU is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 20 points. For those looking to play the spread, take note: they are a solid 6-3 against the spread when expected to win.
