Redshirt junior DL Shayon Green was named the team's most improved defensive player of the spring. Green missed the last few practices of spring football with an undisclosed injury. Sophomore WR Rashawn Scott was named the most improved offensive player for spring football. Scott totaled 264 yards in three scrimmages. Sophomore CB Thomas Finnie was named most improved special teams player of the spring and redshirt freshman WR Garrett Kidd, son of former NFL P John Kidd, was named walk-on player of the spring.
