TCU will kick off fall camp without a key starter for 2013, as offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje has quit the team for personal reasons.
The 6-foot-7, 315 pound offensive lineman started 12 games for the Horned Frogs in 2012 and was named Honorable Mention All-Big 12. He was listed as the No. 1 right tackle on TCU's post-spring depth chart, and his abrupt exit likely opens up the competition for sophomore Halapoulivaati Vaitai or senior James Dunbar -- listed as the No. 2 left tackle on the post-spring depth chart.
This is the second school change for Fabuluje since he started his college career in 2010. The Euless, Texas native signed with BYU as a defensive lineman and redshirted the 2010 season. He then transferred to TCU, and sat out 2011 due to NCAA transfer rules. When he was activated from the scout team in 2012, Fabuluje excelled at the starting left tackle position -- where he accumulated 10 of his starts -- on the Horned Frogs offensive line.
