Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter exited Saturday's Arizona game with an aggravated shoulder injury and will not return. Hunter suffered the injury last week against Kansas State

The decision to pull Hunter was precautionary with the Buffaloes taking a 28-7 lead into halftime, according to the Fox broadcast. He returned to the sideline wearing street clothes. Hunter caught two passes for 17 yards and added a tackle at cornerback against Arizona.

Hunter is fighting for his spot in the Heisman Trophy race against Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. He's played an absurd number of snaps on both sides of the ball, but he had to miss much of the second half of his last two games because of the shoulder issue.

Coming into the week, Hunter had 49 catches for 587 yards and six touchdowns. He also has two interceptions, plus a game-winning forced fumble (vs. Baylor).
