The UAB Blazers will play against a Division II opponent, the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, in an early-season tune-up on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET at Protective Stadium. The Blazers ended up 9-4 last season and capped things off with a win over the BYU Cougars in the Independence Bowl, so they are on the hunt for another strong season.
