The UTSA Roadrunners were able to grind out a solid win over the UNLV Rebels on Saturday, winning 24-17. The team accrued 17 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
The contest brought UTSA to 5-0 and dropped UNLV to a mirror-image 0-5.
The Roadrunners will square off against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at Houchens-Smith Stadium. WKU took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse UTSA's good fortune. UNLV will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against the Utah State Aggies at 7 p.m. ET in two weeks at Allegiant Stadium. Like UNLV, Utah State is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 34-20 to the BYU Cougars.
