Now the No. 6 team in the country, BYU is three wins away from an undefeated regular season. The Cougars' next test will come against a Kansas team that just put up 45 points against Iowa State last weekend.

BYU is 9-0, but many of those wins have come by the thinnest of margins, and last weekend was no different. The Cougars needed a dramatic second-half comeback to defeat rival Utah on a game-winning field goal with just three seconds left on the clock. BYU is now 4-0 in one-score games this season, and fans are probably hoping for a more stress-free win on Saturday.

In order for that to happen, the offense will have to be a little more efficient than it was against the Utes. Quarterback Jake Retzlaff completed less than 50% of his throws for 219 yards, and the Cougars posted just 120 rushing yards on 32 attempts.

At one point this season, Kansas looked like it was headed for a 1-11 or 2-10 record, but the Jayhawks have turned a corner lately. They've now won two of their last three games, and their last outing was a huge 45-36 win over No. 17 Iowa State. Jalon Daniels made huge plays through the air and on the ground, totaling 363 yards and three touchdowns.

If Kansas has found its groove on offense, then it could give BYU a run for its money in Provo. The defense will need to improve after giving up 383 passing yards to the Cyclones, but the Cougars haven't had a ton of success in that department lately anyway.
