Boise State has now won seven straight games, and it continues to ride star running back Ashton Jeanty toward a Mountain West Conference title and the College Football Playoff. This weekend, the Broncos are taking the Jeanty show on the road to San Jose State.

The Broncos are coming off a nerve-wracking 28-21 win over Nevada, which is winless in conference play. Boise State was able to avoid the upset by doing what it normally does -- giving the ball to Jeanty over and over. Jeanty bolstered his Heisman Trophy candidacy with 209 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries.

While the ground game has been great all season, the passing game still needs some work. Boise State quarterback Maddux Madsen completed just nine of his 20 passing attempts for 119 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The big question for San Jose State is whether it can slow down Jeanty, something no other team has really been able to do. That doesn't seem likely given that the Spartans have the 75th ranked rushing defense in the nation, allowing 151.2 yards per game.

If San Jose State can't stop Jeanty, it will have to outscore Boise State, and that might mean a heavy dose of star wide receiver Nick Nash. Last week, Nash cooked Oregon State for 161 yards and a touchdown. On the season, Nash has caught 86 passes for 1,156 yards and 13 touchdowns.
