Valladay spent his entire 2023 campaign with the Jets, appearing in one game and failing to record a stat on just 12 total snaps. The Arizona State product racked up over 2,200 rushing yards during his final two collegiate seasons, so he has a chance at finding a spot on to another team's practice squad heading into 2024.

Xazavian Valladay: Waived by Pittsburgh
The Steelers waived Valladay on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Valladay joined the Texans as an undrafted free agent in late April before being let go by the team in mid-August. He quickly landed with the Steelers but was unable to earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster. He'll now have to seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2023 campaign.

Valladay signed with the Steelers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Valladay was waived by the Texans over the weekend after spending the bulk of the offseason in Houston. The undrafted rookie rushed four times for eight yards in the Texans' preseason opener. In Pittsburgh, Valladay will try to show enough to carve out a spot on the practice squad.

Xazavian Valladay: Heading to Houston
Valladay is expected to sign with the Texans as an undrafted free agent, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
After four seasons in Wyoming, Valladay transferred to Arizona State for the 2022 season, where he rushed for 1,192 yards and 16 touchdowns on 215 carries while adding 37 receptions for 289 yards and two touchdowns. He led the Pac-12 in rushing touchdowns and finished second in rushing yards, which earned him a spot on the Second Team All-Pac-12 roster. His production over his five-year college career, along with his patience, vision and shifty footwork, has earned him a chance to compete on an NFL roster for the 2023 NFL season.
