Draft Scouting Report
Pro Comparison: Jack Cichy
Summary
Lander Barton was thrust into Utah’s starting lineup as a true freshman in 2022 and looked destined for a breakout career. Three years later, the former Pac-12 Freshman Defensive Player of the Year never earned an All-Conference nod. Given how natural he looked moonlighting at tight end last fall, Barton’s best position may not even be on the defensive side of the ball.
About
- 2025: All-Big 12 Honorable Mention
- 2025: 6 receptions, 44 yards, 1 receiving TD

- Below-average range by NFL standards.
- Phone-booth agility leaves something to be desired when working around blocks.
