Commanders' Treylon Burks: Spectacular TD grab in loss
Burks caught one of four targets for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday night's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos.
With Terry McLaurin not playing full snaps in his return from a quadriceps injury, Burks played 66 percent of the Commanders' offensive snaps against Denver, even though he was also returning from a broken finger. Burks' four targets were still a distant fourth on the team, but he made his lone catch count with a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone. It was Burks' first touchdown catch since Week 13 of his 2022 rookie season with the Titans. With McLaurin and Deebo Samuel healthy, Burks carries minimal fantasy value.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Clear for Sunday
Burks (finger) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Broncos.
Burks sat out the Commanders' last game Week 11 due to a finger injury that required surgery, but with the benefit of a Week 12 bye, he followed up back-to-back limited practices to open Week 13 prep with a full session Friday, setting him up to suit up this weekend. With top WR Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) back in the lineup and Deebo Samuel also on hand, Burks will be in the mix for snaps and targets behind them along with Jaylin Lane and Chris Moore.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Limited again Thursday
Burks (finger) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Burks' finger injury prevented him from suiting up Week 11, and he's still managing the issue coming out of Washington's bye. He may have to log full practice reps Friday in order to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (knee, IR) have both also retaken the practice field for Washington, meaning Burks could find himself relegated to a depth role even if he's able to return Week 13.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Limited at practice
Burks (finger) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Burks briefly became Washington's No. 3 receiver, but he missed Week 11 with a finger injury and now comes out of a Week 12 bye with more competition for playing time. Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (knee) both returned to practice this week.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Won't play Week 11 with injury
Burks has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to a finger injury.
Burks was signed to the Commanders' active roster this past Tuesday and made an impact during Sunday's 44-22 loss to the Lions, when he led Washington with 58 receiving yards on three catches. However, the 2022 first-rounder came out of that contest with a finger injury, which was severe enough for him to undergo surgery Monday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Burks will miss Sunday's game in Spain, but the finger injury isn't considered a long-term issue, meaning he could be cleared to return following the Commanders' Week 12 bye.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Makes impact in loss to Lions
Burks secured all three of his targets for 58 yards during Sunday's 44-22 loss to Detroit.
Burks led Washington in terms of receiving yards against Detroit with Marcus Mariota under center and Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) sidelined, though he was outpaced by both Deebo Samuel and tight end Zach Ertz in terms of targets. As Burks was signed to the active roster in advance of Sunday's contest, he'll get another chance to contribute on offense as the Commanders travel to Madrid in Week 11 to take on the Dolphins. If McLaurin is unavailable again versus Miami, Burks could be considered as an emergency pivot option at wide receiver in deeper fantasy formats.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Getting signed to active roster
Washington signed Burks to its active roster Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Commanders are dealing with injuries to multiple notable contributors at wide receiver, so it's not a huge surprise to see them bring up reinforcements at the position. Burks logged 32 offensive snaps in his first game with Washington in Week 9, bringing in his only target for 14 yards.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: One catch in Commanders debut
Burks caught his only target for 14 yards during Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Seahawks.
The 2022 first-round pick from Arkansas was elevated from the Commanders' practice squad to the active roster to ensure depth at wide receiver, as both Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) were sidelined Sunday. Burks played 33 offensive snaps and operated as Washington's No. 4 wideout, finishing as the team's fifth-leading receiver. He's likely to remain on the Commanders' active roster for the Week 10 matchup against the Lions, as McLaurin and Brown appear unlikely to return.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Lands back on practice squad
Burks reverted to Washington's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
After joining the Commanders' practice squad in mid-October, Burks got his first elevation ahead of Sunday's loss to Seattle. He logged a pretty hefty workload with 33 of 65 offensive snaps, finishing fourth among Washington's wideouts. Burks caught his only target for 14 yards in the contest and also played two snaps on special teams. Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) missed the matchup and isn't expected to return in Week 10, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post, and Luke McCaffrey fractured his collarbone Sunday, so there's a good chance Burks will be active again this Sunday versus Detroit.

Treylon Burks: Officially joins Commanders' PS
Burks signed with Washington's practice squad Thursday.
Burks may need some time to learn the playbook, but he has a chance to be elevated and contribute right away Sunday against the Cowboys, as the Commanders may be severely shorthanded at wide receiver. Noah Brown (groin) is on injured reserve, and there are serious doubts about whether either of Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) or Deebo Samuel (heel) will be available. Burks had just 34 receiving yards in five games for the Titans last season.

Treylon Burks: Set to join Washington's PS
Burks is expected to sign with the Commanders' practice squad, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Burks visited with both the Broncos and Commanders this past week, and the 2022 first-rounder appears to have chosen to join Washington as his next destination. Burks could be elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's NFC East tilt against the Cowboys, as the Commanders might be without Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Deebo Samuel (heel), while Noah Brown (groin) is on injured reserve. Burks has accumulated 53 catches (on 92 targets) for 699 yards and one touchdown over 27 regular-season games across his NFL career.
