Rams' Davis Allen: No targets in Week 15
Allen (shoulder) played 15 of the Rams' 65 snaps on offense and went without a target in Thursday's 12-6 win over the 49ers.
Listed as questionable leading up to Thursday due to the shoulder injury, Allen received clearance to play but didn't carve out much of a role on offense. He finished third among Rams tight ends in snaps, trailing Colby Parkinson (32) and Hunter Long (22). With the Rams activated Tyler Higbee (knee) from the PUP list Tuesday in anticipation that he makes his season debut Sunday against the Jets, Allen could be a candidate for the inactive list.

Rams' Davis Allen: Active for TNF
Allen (shoulder) is active for Thursday night's contest against the 49ers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official website reports.
Allen was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury, but he's now all set to play in Week 15. The tight end hasn't caught a pass since Week 10 while garnering just one target over the last four contests.

Rams' Davis Allen: Iffy for Thursday
Allen (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against San Francisco, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Allen was a limited participant in practice Wednesday after being listed as a non-participant the first two days of the week, though Los Angeles didn't practice Monday and held a walk-through session Tuesday. His playing time has trended down since logging 81 percent of Los Angeles' offensive snaps Week 10, and he hasn't caught a pass in four straight games. If Allen misses Thursday's matchup, Hunter Long could be in line for more work on offense.

Rams' Davis Allen: Unable to practice Tuesday
Allen (shoulder) did not practice Tuesday.
Allen's shoulder injury also kept him sidelined during Monday's practice session. The second-year pro is established in a clear backup role in Los Angeles' tight end rotation, having gone four straight games without a target. Even if Allen manages to suit up Thursday on the road against San Francisco, Colby Parkinson and/or Tyler Higbee (knee), who could be activated from the the reserve/PUP list for Week 15, will be better candidates for production.

Rams' Davis Allen: Blanked on stat sheet
Allen wasn't targeted during Sunday's 28-22 victory against the Patriots.
Matthew Stafford sent only a single target towards a tight end, with Colby Parkinson catching a 19-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Allen still operated as the No. 1 tight end, on the field for 34 snaps compared to 19 for Parkinson and 18 for Hunter Long. Another tough task for the Rams' tight ends is up next Week 12, as the Eagles have held the position to just under 40 yards per game.

Rams' Davis Allen: Commands snap share in loss
Allen secured five of six targets for 34 yards during Sunday's 23-15 loss to the Dolphins.
With Colby Parkinson's role shrinking over the past few weeks, Allen took over the primary tight end role this week, and the second-year tight end out of Clemson enjoyed season-high usage (56 out of 70 snaps on offense) to go along with a massive uptick in production. Parkinson (11 snaps) and Hunter Long (nine snaps) both failed to record a target in the contest. A tough task lies in wait in Week 11 against a Patriots defense that just held Cole Kmet to two catches for 13 yards as part of a complete shutdown of the Bears' offense.

Allen has been absent the last two weeks, but he was able to get on the practice field as a full participant Friday, paving the way for him to take the field Sunday. He should operate as the team's No. 2 tight end, behind Colby Parkinson.

Rams' Davis Allen: Questionable versus Chicago
Allen (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Allen has missed the last two games but was upgraded to a full practice Friday after getting in limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. If Allen is able to return against the Bears, it would likely push Hunter Long back to TE3 duties. Colby Parkinson has virtually been an every-down tight end for Los Angeles.

Rams' Davis Allen: Limited to open week
Allen (back) was a limited participant at the Rams' practice Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Allen was forced to miss the team's 27-24 win over the 49ers in Week 3 due to a back injury, but his ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday is a step in the right direction. The tight end will look to increase his workload at one of the team's two remaining practices this week prior to Sunday's matchup with the Bears.
