Jake Majors: Joining Philly's practice squad
The Eagles signed Majors (knee) to their practice squad Tuesday.
Less than a week after getting waived by the Buccaneers with an injury settlement, Majors is already getting another chance with a different team. After starting left guard Landon Dickerson left Thursday's game versus the Cowboys early with a back injury, it makes some sense that Philadelphia is trying to add some organizational depth on the interior of the offensive line.

Jake Majors: Waived with injury settlement
The Buccaneers waived Majors (knee) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Majors was slated to miss the entire 2025 season after reverting to the Bucs' injured reserve. Now that he's been let go with an injury settlement, he'll have the chance to sign with a team in need of depth at center once he's fully recovered from his knee injury.

Buccaneers' Jake Majors: Going to IR
Majors (knee) reverted to the Buccaneers' injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
The center was waived/injured by the team a day earlier, according to Scott Smith of the Bucs' official site. Majors will need to reach an injury settlement with Tampa Bay in order to play this season. The Texas product signed with the Bucs as an undrafted free agent back in the spring.

Buccaneers' Jake Majors: Dealing with wrist injury
Majors (wrist) didn't participate in Tampa Bay's practice Tuesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Majors joined the team as an undrafted free agent in April, and it's currently unclear how long he'll be sidelined for. If the 23-year-old ends up being forced to miss extended time, he could fall behind in his competition with Sua Opeta (knee) for the Buccaneers' backup center spot behind Graham Barton.
