Rendon (elbow) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta but won't require a stint on the injured list, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon was removed from Friday's game after getting hit by a pitch in the right elbow, but the injury isn't considered serious enough to warrant an IL move. Brandon Drury will bat sixth and play third base Saturday.
