The Angels reinstated Fulmer (elbow) from the 15-day injured list Sunday, and he'll shift to a relief role, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
The right-hander was operating as a starter when he landed on the IL with elbow inflammation in late August, but he'll shift to a relief role now that he's recovered from the injury. Fulmer is returning to the active roster without a rehab assignment, so the move to relief is likely allowing him to more quickly rejoin the Angels.
