Daniel (1-4) took the loss Monday against Toronto, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks across five innings. He struck out two.
All four runs attributed to Daniel came in the third inning, when he surrendered back-to-back doubles, an RBI single and a two-run home run, with the long ball coming off Leo Jimenez's bat. Daniel has surrendered at least four runs in back-to-back starts and has done so in four of six starts this season. Though Daniel is expected to remain in the rotation, the Angels could replace him with Jack Kochanowicz, who allowed two runs across 7.2 innings Sunday after being recalled from Double-A.
