Dayton signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Saturday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Dayton opted out of a minor-league deal with the Marlins last weekend, and he'll settle for another minor-league contract with the Angels. The left-hander posted a 2.35 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 15.1 innings over 12 appearances at Triple-A Jacksonville this year, and he'll likely report to Triple-A Salt Lake to begin his time with his new organization.
