Adams was scratched from the lineup ahead of Friday's game versus Houston due to right knee soreness, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
The severity of Adams' injury remains unknown, but it's apparently bothering him enough to warrant a day off Friday. Kevin Pillar will step in to serve as the Angels' center fielder and bat fourth.
