Suarez was placed on the 10-day injured list for undisclosed reasons, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.
It's unclear whether the transaction has anything to do with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the Angels couldn't legally confirm if that were indeed the case. Suarez is in the mix to get some starts this year, though it's not yet clear if he'll be ready to pitch at the start of the regular season.
