O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
O'Hoppe will hit the bench for the second straight game to close out the regular season. The 22-year-old backstop batted .231 with no extra-base hits in his first 15 big-league plate appearances and will maintain rookie eligibility heading into 2023.
