Thaiss will get the nod behind the plate Wednesday in place of the resting Logan O'Hoppe, as the Angels and White Sox wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. The 29-year-old Thaiss will be entering the lineup in the midst of a cold spell, as he's gone hitless in 30 at-bats over his last 11 contests.
