Harrison was designated for assignment by the Angels on Wednesday.
Harrison had his contract selected by the Angels in late June and slashed .182/.357/.455 with a homer, five runs, three RBI and a stolen base over nine games with the major-league club. However, he'll be cast off the 40-man roster after Jo Adell was recalled Wednesday.
