The Angels outrighted Moronta to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
The right-handed reliever will remain in the Angels organization after going unclaimed off waivers when he was designated for assignment Friday. Prior to being removed from the 40-man roster, Moronta made two relief appearances for the big club, recording four outs while giving up one run on four hits and three walks.
