The Angels acquired Kingery from the Phillies on Friday in exchange for cash considerations.
Kingery, 30, has spent each of the last two seasons at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, most recently hitting .268/.316/.488 with 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases there in 2024. The former top prospect hasn't received an extended look in the majors since 2019, but perhaps he'll get another shot in his new organization.
