Ohtani (hand/wrist) will bat second as the designated hitter Monday against the Yankees.
Ohtani was struck on the right hand/wrist during Saturday's game against the Padres, but X-rays came back negative and he's ready to play following Sunday's scheduled off day. The 27-year-old is also listed as the Angels' probable starter for Tuesday's contest, so it also appears he's been cleared to take the mound.
