Ward went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-2 extra-inning loss to the Dodgers.

For the second time in three years, Ward has reached the 20-homer mark, doing so this time with a fifth-inning solo shot. He's surged to the milestone, as he's hit four long balls during his active 13-game hitting streak. In that span, Ward has added six RBI, three doubles, two triples, a steal and seven runs scored while batting .294 (15-for-51). He's up to a .240/.311/.420 slash line with 62 RBI, 59 runs scored, 25 doubles and four steals over 132 contests this season.
