Knapp signed a minor-league contract with the Astros on Wednesday, Kenny Van Doren of Bally Sports Midwest reports.
Knapp was released from his minor-league deal with the Tigers earlier this month but has quickly found a new home. While he will provide the Astros with some veteran catcher depth, the team will be hoping he's not needed in the majors.
