Meyers will sit Monday against the Angels, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Meyers is the Astros' primary center fielder at the moment, but he doesn't have anything close to an everyday role there. He's started in that spot nine times in 18 games thus far in September, compared to six times for Monday's starter Chas McCormick, while also starting once in left field.
