Garcia was outrighted to Triple-A Sugar Land after clearing waivers Friday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Garcia was designated for assignment Wednesday and went unclaimed on waivers. He'll likely play out the rest of the season at Triple-A. While in Houston, Garcia hit .151/.216/.208 across 117 plate appearances on the campaign.
