Ivey (elbow) began a rehab assignment for the Astros' FCL affiliate Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Ivey made his major-league debut in late May but has been shut down with a nerve issue in his elbow ever since that appearance. He's unlikely to be fully built up by the end of the season, but it's certainly a positive that he's able to pitch in some capacity.
