Diaz went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a second RBI and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Angels.
Diaz sat out each of the previous two games, and the rest seems to have benefited his performance. This was his first multi-hit effort since July 6 versus the Nationals, and it included his first homer since July 10. The catcher is batting .247 with a .677 OPS, seven homers, 25 RBI, 22 runs scored, nine doubles and no stolen bases over 51 games this season.
