Adams (forearm) came away from Friday's live batting practice feeling good and could soon embark on a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.
Adams had also thrown a bullpen session Tuesday without any setbacks, so he seems to be making steady progress. If he makes it through the weekend without any residual effects from having faced hitters, Adams could head out to Triple-A Las Vegas early in the week to begin what would likely be a relatively brief rehab assignment.
