Butler went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored, two walks and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the White Sox.
Butler had another impressive showing Saturday and extended his hitting streak to 22 games in the process. Butler is now three games away from tying Oakland's longest hitting streak ever set by Jason Giambi in 1997. The 24-year-old continues his second-half breakout as he has turned his season around since the beginning of July. Butler came into July with a .180 batting average and since then has hit .325 with 19 homers, 47 RBI and 11 stolen bases over his last 62 games.
