Miller (finger) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Miller's fractured finger is on his left (non-throwing) hand, so he will likely continue to throw bullpen sessions while his finger heals to keep his arm active. It remains unclear how long it will be until he's able to ditch the cast on his hand, but general manager David Forst said he's hopeful the right-hander will be able to return to the Athletics' bullpen quickly once the cast is removed.
